Have you ever gone to a presentation to only be told that you can only use the app being discussed on an Apple device? Or maybe you’ve sat through 45mins to only be told that the wonderful app you’re seeing is paid. Find out about applications that can be used on Chromebooks, Apple devices AND Android devices, and best yet, are FREE or at least FREEMIUM. With many schools starting to turn away from Apple and moving towards Chromebooks and Google Drive there is always a need to find applications that will work with this browser-based computer or on mobile devices equally rather than segregating a lesson to only those with one or the other. Make sure to stay on track with this continuing trend of using Google’s computers. Attendees will be introduced to various cloud-based applications that can be used in multiple ways in classrooms. Some of these may even cross over into use on mobile devices. You’re encouraged to bring your Chromebook to try out some of these applications for yourself. Mobile devices can also be brought but the emphasis will be on cloud based apps.
