Plugging in the Unplugged Teacher

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We all have those lessons we've been using for years. They have worked before so why not keep using them? However, students of today want to dive deeper into their learning through coding, robotics, and software. They want to know how and why something works. Once understood, they want to take those ideas and build something new with it. Hear about how unplugged veteran teachers became plugged-in using tools such as Makey Makey, Hummingbird Kits, Ozobots and more, all while following curriculum requirements. See lesson plan examples, pictures of projects and makerspace lab set-up, and hear testimonials from teachers, students and their families.
