Welcome
Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference. We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.

Sunday, December 8 • 9:45am - 10:45am
Full steam ahead: Hop on this platform to learn how you can conduct an UDL-infused middle school poetry lesson!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Long ago, when a little horse's power was harnessed on a snowy day, Robert Frost stopped by some woods. Now, with the power of the internet, middle school students can stop by lava flows, fjords and canyons! Bring your device and explore the possibilities when you conduct a lesson based on the Universal Design for Learning guidelines and apply them to a middle school poetry project. I'll provide resources to put you on the right track: we'll pair Google's Hidden Worlds of the National Parks digital field trips with #hyperdocs and Chrome extensions that support accessibility, engagement, and expression for your young scholars.
