Welcome Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference. We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.
Did you know that K-3 students can use typed coding to build their own apps? Typed coding teaches computer science, but also reinforces literacy, math, science, and other subjects. Students create their own shareable apps with a tool called Bitsbox—no two apps are the same! This hands-on presentation is directed at K-3 general ed. teachers. You'll walk away with a plan of action and strategies for integrating typed app coding into your everyday classroom. No experience necessary—climb aboard!
