Be prepared to learn about our unique badging initiative in grades 3 -5, and walk away with your very own badge! We noticed a need to represent student learning of digital competencies from year to year. We will share the 2 series of badges that students can earn. These include digital tool competencies and themes in our digital citizenship curriculum.You will learn the process we used to create and design badges, develop the criteria for earning badges, and process for sharing the badges with students.We will share how students were thrilled to see their acquired badges on their computer devices, and how teachers used this visual representation to understand individual skills and knowledge level.To enhance our badging initiative, a Parent Field Guide was created to add additional family support.
