Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Link to Presentation:  bit.ly/AT4UDL .   A recent study (Bouck, 2016) found that students with high incidence disabilities who received quality assistive technology (AT) services had a graduation rate of 99.8%! What is this mystical tool? Well, there is nothing mystical about AT, but it is often misunderstood and misapplied. ITRTs and technology savvy educators of all sorts can make a huge difference in the provision of assistive technology for students with disabilities. During this session we will explore what is assistive technology is and how it fits into a UDL framework, as well as the many of the tools that can be used to support students with disabilities in reading, writing, mathematics, executive function, cognition, mobility & sensory needs, and more! Pssssst......many of these tools are already included in the tools sitting on their desks and in their pockets....
