Personalizing PD to Build and Sustain Internal Capacity: One Instructional Specialist’s Story

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Education is tilting inexorably towards personalized, student-centered learning and leveraging technology to do such, but we can’t expect educators to make shifts to more personalized and student-centered learning environments without providing PD opportunities that are equally personalized for them. Join Manassas City Public Schools, Katie Bookwalter and BetterLesson's Romain Bertrand as they: 1. share lessons learned from their four-year journey to personalize professional development for instructional technology coaches in the division and 2. experience and learn how to do the same for your school or school division - as well as experiencing a leadership strategy as a take-away for your own toolkit!

Additional Presenter: Pedro Hernandez, Supervisor of Instructional Tech and Innovation for Manassas Public Schools.
