Welcome
Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference. We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.

Monday, December 9 • 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Coding Creatively with BrainPOP

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Learn more about Creative Coding with BrainPOP! Developed with Scratch and Vidcode, it includes both block- and text-based projects that span the K-12 curriculum and require no prior experience. No matter what you teach, these projects are an easy on-ramp to the world of coding: come find out why!

Attendees will learn how Virginia districts have already implemented Creative Coding into the curriculum and addressing VA Computer Science Standards. We will share our latest research and examples of real student coding projects.

Bring your laptop to get “hands-on” with your own coding projects and take back what you learn to "show what your know" with your curriculum team!
