The newly minted college grad.The long-term sub.The out-of-stater.New teachers come from all backgrounds and ITRTs play a huge role in onboarding teachers into schools, leading the process of navigating the division resources, processes, and protocols that come with entering the teaching profession.However, without systems in place to help these new teachers manage their first few years in the classroom, we may find ourselves off-boarding teachers sooner than later. Utilizing data collected from experience, research, and testimonies, we'll discuss tech tools and strategies teacher leaders can use support new teachers with classroom management, lesson planning and design, and organization.  Please contact me at jalisa.logan@portk12.com if you need any materials from the presentation.
