Welcome
Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference. We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.

Video production empowers students to be stakeholders in their learning. Many applications and websites now make the process of creating and editing videos simple and accessible.During this session, teachers will experience firsthand the process of creating a video as well as discuss ways it can be implemented as a project based learning activity for students. This is a great opportunity to create an interest hook to introduce a unit of study, or create a “note card confession” to convey a concept.Teachers will also have a chance to do some “app smashing” using various Google tools.
