I’m Maggie Knight. I have worked for NNPS for over 30 years. I worked in clerical positions before starting my teaching journey at B.T. Washington in 2001. I taught students in both collaborative and self-contained settings. I truly enjoy seeing students decode and comprehend the written word! The technology that allowed me to be a successful student with a learning disability has greatly increased since I was in school. I often partner with Student Advancement for district PDs. I have been an Instructional Technology Coach since 2007 and love the students and teachers in Middle School. I have served the students and teachers from Pre-K through 12th Grade.
A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, I attended Newport News Public Schools and graduated from Ferguson High School. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time with my family, and getting into all kinds of trouble.
