Nick Grzeda is the Supervisor for Computer Science in Loudoun County Public Schools. From 2016-2020, Nick was a Digital Integration Specialist in the Office of Educational Technology and was responsible for managing VISION (LCPS instance of Moodle); leading division-wide initiatives like BYOT and providing staff training in the area of blended learning; assisting with live broadcasting across the division; and coordinating the annual Inspire Loudoun Teacher Conference.
Prior to working in the Office of Educational Technology, Nick was the Technology Resource Teacher at Rock Ridge High School (2014-16) and taught English at Loudoun County High School from 2005-14. During his final year teaching English, he taught AP English Literature, English 11 Honors, and Etymology which contained various flipped classroom and project-based learning elements. Nick was also the Head Coach of the Varsity Swim Team at LCHS from 2005-14 and sponsored the LCHS Poetry Club from 2009-14. Before moving to Loudoun County Public Schools in 2005, Nick was a Special Education Teacher at Rachel Carson Middle School in Fairfax County.
Nick earned both a BA in English Literature as well as a BS in Business Management from Virginia Tech in 2001, and later received his Masters Degree in Special Education ED/LD from George Mason University in 2005. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate at Shenandoah University in Educational Leadership.
